Heart of the city

Barcelona had some great graffiti art but I don't know how this happened. I have no idea how you achieve 'ghosting' with film... this seemed to happen by itself.

Film vs. Digital

Lately I've been taking lots of photos with my Pentax k1000 (see my photo's from Chefchaouen below) and even though I love the camera, it's getting quite expensive to develop and buy so much film.  I would love to start posting more pictures of my day to day activities so I'm looking to buy a digital.... Any ideas of where I should start?
Some models I am considering:
Canon EOS 5d
Leica D-Lux 4
Nikon D90

There's a huge price range here as I've still got a lot of research to do. I haven't really decided whether I'm going to go with a compact camera or an SLR. It's all too confusing. Sorry about the bad scans. I don't have time or the patience to re-scan and remove the lines!

Barcelona

I've just gotten back from a trip to Spain and Morocco. I fell in love with Barcelona and would like to live there some day. I miss the food already! We arrived at the end of winter and the weather was perfect. Here are some shots I took on my travels.
